This is a project we started in 2009 – 2010 in a class called Project bluelight. Lisa Barcy was our faculty advisor and guided us on our exploration through stop motion. We collaborated in a group of 10 – 18 students to create a short animation within one months time. We used cut out characters that we then colored in with markers. Many of us on this project shared tasks. I was put in charge of art direction. However, we all had equal input regarding the outcome of the final submission. The piece is intended to act as a installation. Ideally someone would sit down in a gallery or theater at a seat intended to look like a plane. The would watch the animation play on a rear projection next to them as if they were watching the movie unfold first hand.

This is the final submission for festival review and has already been accepted into various festivals.
